Thursday’s Holy Week reflection – 9th April 2020

Good morning! The Lord be with you.

Today’s gospel reading is John 13.1-17, 31-35
Our reflection is given by David. Thank you David!
You can watch his reflection here

If you would like to participate in a live streamed service this evening there is one from St Peter’s Pedmore at 7.30pm and you can follow the link here

Today is Maundy Thursday when we remember both the humility and love of Jesus in washing our feet and giving us the last supper, and the betrayal and arrest of Jesus and the scattering of His disciples. Always a solemn day, and at this difficult time we may feel the grief and bewilderment of this season more than we have done in previous years. If you find you are struggling today, please don’t hesitate to be in touch. May you know the peace and presence of Jesus today.

Every blessing, Revd Kalantha
